Watching the debate at Wembley and one thing is very clear

The leave campaigners are getting twice the applause the remain-ers are. It's not completely one sided but the difference is very clear.

Let me be blunt though, most of this is just a slanging match with conjecture being thrown back and forth, and with no side giving any factual arguments to back their claims. On stage, Boris and his two colleagues are far stronger in their manner and delivery compared to the other side.

I'm not watching this for the rubbish spouted by either, what's more important is how the audience is reacting because that's a very big clue into how this country is going to vote. Based on what I'm seeing the leavers are making most noise.

The UK press will be passing judgement at the end of this and that will set the tone for trading tomorrow. I'm seeing no comments on news wires from this debate but the pound has fallen, and I suspect there's a few traders who are watching this and coming to the same conclusion as I am, that there's more leavers than remains, and if that's indicative of the greater population, the UK is voting out.

Back to the gogglebox.
