Poor old Dieselbomb has been under the cosh lately

Eurogroup head, Jerome Dijsselbloem is under fire. His home party may hoof him as finance minister, and he's under fire from Europe's MEP's and leaders after saying Eurozone countries wasted money on Booze and women. Speaking in a German news article he said;

"During the crisis of the euro, the countries of the North have shown solidarity with the countries affected by the crisis. As a Social Democrat, I attribute exceptional importance to solidarity. But you also have obligations. You can not spend all the money on drinks and women and then ask for help."

Those comments have led to calls for him to be fired or resign. I don't make him wrong personally.

He's getting some support from Germany as a finance ministry spokeswoman has popped up to say that Schaeuble values the work of the Deej and expects a fully functioning Eurogroup Chair under this government.

High praise indeed but will it save his neck?
