Most news agencies now reporting that heavy shooting has been heard in the northern Paris suburb of Saint Denis and reports say a large scale police operation, linked to last Friday's attacks, is under way there
French TV say that some police have been wounded and that there are a number of armed terrorist suspects holed up in an apartment
The BBC further report that a French journalist in St-Denis, Djamel Mazi,states that two or three men have barricaded themselves into an apartment in the centre of the suburb. He also says people are being evacuated from the local area.

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged mastermind of the Paris attacks, is the focus of the police operation in Saint Denis. The report is unverified.
