The San Francisco Federal Reserve tweeted out earlier:

if you actually go to the link in the tweet, the only thing there is a pic of the old and new $20 bill and the words:

  • It is U.S. government policy that all designs of U.S currency remain legal tender, regardless of when they were issued. This policy includes all denominations of Federal Reserve notes, from 1914 to the present.

Which is not the same thing as 'value' at all.

Awkward.
