- UK would still be liable to all the EU trade rules if we left but would have no say over them
- Any trade deal could take years to complete outside of the EU
- Britain can never be part of a European super state
- Referendum will Thursday 23rd June
- Government's position will be to recommend that the UK stays in Europe
- There will be no second renegotiation or second referendum
- If Britain votes to leave then the process will start immediately
- Exit negotiation will be over a two year period
- If a deal to leave isn't agreed (in 2 year period) then exit will be automatic and all applicable trade deals will lapse
