We got manufacturing PMIs out China earlier in the week and over the weekend:
- China - HSBC/Markit Manufacturing PMI for February: 50.7 (flash was 50.1)
- China - Official February PMI - Manufacturing 49.9 (expected 49.7), Non-manufacturing 53.9
Today we get the HSBC non-manufacturing PMI, due at 0145GMT:
- HSBC/Markit reading for Services PMI for February, prior was 51.8
- And the HSBC/Markit Composite PMI for February, prior was 51.0
The services PMI doesn't get the same attention in the market as does the manufacturing PMI, even though services are a bigger part of the economy. Go figure.
