Latest poll shows New Democracy in the lead for the first time
Polls ahead of the Greek election had shown Syriza in the lead by as many as 5 points but a just-released survey from GPO shows New Democracy leading 25.3% to 25.0%. That's surely within the margin of error but even if it weren't, what difference would it make?
Syriza's was probably the most-radical democratic election win in Europe in at least a generation. What did they change? Nothing.
It doesn't matter who sits in Greek Parliament; the power is in Berlin.
