November 2015 UK visible trade balance data report

  • Prior -11.83bn. Revised to -11.20bn
  • Non-EU trade ba; -2.45bn vs -3.00bn exp. Prior -3.73bn. Revised to -3.55bn
  • Goods and services trade bal -3.170bn vs -2.700bn exp. Prior -4.14bn. Revised to -3.50bn
  • Goods trade bal -8.19bn vs -7.65bn prior. Largest on record

Marginally worse on the headline but made better by the difference from the prior and revision

Non-EU trade is a touch better and imports of cars widened the goods deficit

The ONS say that the value of oil imports was the main reason behind the narrowing of the balance.

Also the numbers were for Nov, not Dec as I put originally
