- Most Chinese insurers capped their investments in stock market at 15% of their total assets
- Despite the recent surge in the Chinese stock market
- Up from a ratio of less than 10% at the end of last year but is still far from the regulatory 30% cap
- Investment officials from insurance companies said they would be more cautious with stock investments in the third quarter and are unlikely to further raise their investments in stocks
