Carney says the economy solid
Carney is also taking credit for the improvement, saying the boost is partly due to BOE action. On the whole, he said economic forecasters are still more pessimistic than the BOE.
Cable likes the comment but there's an element of Carney stating the obvious here. Since mid-August, the data has consistently beaten expectations.
