Jeb Bush has retired from the race as Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump prevail

It's good to have someone else's politics on the front page for a change, and while attention has been focussed on the UK referendum the USA has been getting on with its marathon election process.

Donald Trump has won the South Carolina primary in the Republican race for president while in the Democratic contest, Hillary Clinton beat Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in a tight race in Nevada.

Both results will be key ahead of the so-called "Super Tuesday" round on 1 March, when 12 more states make their choice.

I don't profess to be a student of US politics so I'll let the BBC explain it all further here but Donald Trump as potential leader of the western world? That's scary.
