BOE checks commodity exposures of financial institutions - FT

The FT reports that the Bank of England has been calling around to bank in order to find out if they're suffering because of declines in oil and metals. They cite three people with direct knowledge of the matter.

They wanted to know about bank exposures to individual commodity houses in case one were to collapse.

It makes you wonder of the BOE knows something we don't, especially after the huge hit Deutsche Bank took yesterday and the rout at Glencore.
