First quarter isn't looking good
The Atlanta Fed GDPNow model has been lowered to 1.2% from 1.3%. We're still a long ways away from the first estimate of Q1 growth and much further from the final estimate but the hard data has been poor to start the year.
Yesterday, the Atlanta Fed lowered the forecast to 1.3% from 1.8%.
